【Usage】
Rare metals such as uranium, rare earth, nickel, cobalt, molybdenum, tin, tungsten, vanadium, manganese, antimony, lithium, rhenium and mercury were extracted by extraction.
There are many other uses:
Chemical reagent, high boiling point solvent, used as the main plasticizer of nitrocellulose, cellulose acetate, chlorinated rubber and polyvinyl chloride. It is also commonly used as solvent, defoamer, antistatic agent, dyestuff and dyeing auxiliary for coatings, adhesives and inks.
It is also used as heat exchange medium, building material additive, lubricating oil pressure and antiwear agent. It is used as flame retardant for aircraft hydraulic oil, solvent for extraction and purification of rare earth elements, defoamer for oil casing well cement, anti-aircraft entrainment additive for coatings and floor finishes, solvent for nuclear fuel processing and carrier for fluorescent dyes. Extractant for purification of WPA.
